Title: ‘Antibarbarorum liber unus: quem juvenis quidem adhuc lusit: caeterum diu desideratum. Demum repertum non juvenis recognovit & velut postliminio studiosis restituit’ Comments: The illustration was used in De Lettergieterij van Joh. Enschedé en zonen. Gedenkschrift 1743-1893. This was produced on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the printing company Joh. Enschedé in Haarlem in 1893. The illustration differs from the title page of an original. The text on the head ‘Prelū Borneū’ does not appear, and the shading/hatching differs. It looks as if the 1520 illustration was remade iin 1893. See below to compare both. Technique: Woodcut Publications Enschedé, J.W. (1906) ‘Houten handpersen in de zestiende eeuw’. Tijdschrift voor Boek- en Bibliotheekwezen. Jaargang 4, 5, pp 195-215.
