Diego Saavedra Fajardo: 1640 - 1800

Below is a chronological list of illustrations of a common press that appeared in 44 editions of Idea de vn principe politico christiano, rapresentada en cien empresas. The first aim is to have an overview ‘as complete as possible’ of all illustrations in all editions (see preliminary bibliography). Digital versions of four editions (1658b, 1665, 1668a and 1675b) could not be found yet.
It is clear that several editions use the same gravures, but more detailed comparisons are necessary to investigate this.
